Money Management

Schuylkill Community Action Case Managers are available to assist clients with managing their finances. Case Managers utilize the Wachovia Wells Fargo Financial Education Curriculum developed in partnership with the FDIC. Specific topics covered in the Curriculum include:

Money Matters – how to keep track of your money and develop a household budget
Check It Out – how to choose and keep a checking account
Pay Yourself First – why you should save, save, save
Bank On It – an introduction to bank services
Keep It Safe – your rights as a consumer

Case managers and clients determine which topics are most appropriate to the client’s individual needs. Clients may continue to work with the case manager over an extended period of time to complete topics as needed.
