Schuylkill County Outreach Program
This program is intended to provide comprehensive information regarding human services throughout Schuylkill County while facilitating access to those services. Follow-up services are also provided. This service is currently operating in Shenandoah, Tamaqua, and Mahanoy City communities.

  • Help with active PPL bills
  • Family Savings Account Program
  • Emergency services for food and shelter
  • Home Buyers Program / Home Rehabilitation / Help with Foreclosure
  • Programs to become Self-Sufficient
  • Rent, Mortgage and Utility Assistance
  • Child Care / Children Services / Head Start Programs
  • Senior Services / Nutrition / Home Health Care / Adult Day Care / Hospice
  • Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services
  • Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Counseling Services
  • Health Care and Wellness Services
  • Applications for PACE and property tax - rent rebate

  • Eligibility

    There are no eligibility guidelines for information and Referral services.

    However eligibility guidelines do apply for various program and services that a person may be referred to.
