The Power of Work
Schuylkill Community Action's Supported Work Program was created to meet the needs of welfare recipients entering or re-entering the work world.
The goal of the program is to provide clients with the necessary skills to find successful, meaningful employment.
It is our hope that this will be a significant step in the journey from welfare to self-sufficiency.
Schuylkill Community Action is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in 1964 to provide services to Schuylkill County residents living in poverty.
SCA employs a comprehensive assessment and empowerment approach to provide services to economically disadvantaged persons in its service area.
